Oyetola’s government blessing to Osun — Finance Commissioner, Oyebamiji

The administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has been described as a blessing to the State as result of the unprecedented growth and development being witnessed in all nooks and crannies of the state.

Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji made the assertion on Friday in a statement made available to journalists through the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Finance, Dr Wale Tijani.

He explained that the Governor, since assumption of office, has painstakingly been focused and determined to do everything that will put smiles on the faces of residents through various people friendly policies in all sectors of the State.

The Commissioner, in the statement, particularly praised the Governor for his brilliance and dogged financial re-engineering skills which he has been applying to stabilize the economy of the State, even in the midst of the tough economic realities facing the world, occassioned by the COVID-19 pandemic among other emerging issues.

The statement reads in part, “It has been a tenure full of unprecedented development in Osun and obviously, residents of the State are better for it because the Governor has truly put smiles on their faces.

“I am elated that the Governor has shown that he is a true progressive who means well for the masses who gave him their mandate at the polls; I am excited that he has not let them down since assumption of office, he has touched on every sector of the State from education to commerce,even to agric, he has done so much in the health sector, especially in the fight against COVID-19.

“The State is lucky to have him as Governor at this time, the way he has helped to manage the State in the midst of the economic hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is highly commendable. His financial re-engineering skills has been keeping us afloat economically.

“I urge residents of the state to continue to give him their support at all times even beyond this first term in office, it is the only way that the strings of development can continue in our state. Congratulations sir,” Oyebamiji stated.
