Delta Speaker commends Assembly staff

Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has commended staff of the House of Assembly for their dedication to their duty and support for the legislators in the discharge of their duties.

The Speaker gave the commendation while speaking with journalists in Asaba shortly after having a meeting with the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) in the Assembly complex.

The speaker remarked that it was very necessary to meet with the staff to interface and interact with them, adding that meeting with them had boosted their morale.

“You can see that they are very happy and you can see that we have peace in the House of Assembly. The staff and legislators are all working in synergy and that is why the House is very active.”

He rated the members of staff very high in the areas of discipline and commitment to duty saying without the commitment and cooperation of the staff, the legislators would not achieve what they have been able to achieve.
