Ogun govt restates commitment to uplifting standard of living

Ogun State government has restated its commitment to improving standard of living of every residents of the state through continued investment in provision of varied infrastructural facilities that would ultimately make life more enjoyable for all
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Princess Olapeju Shote made this known in Abeokuta while responding to the request of provision of electricity transformer by the executive members of Tobalase community, Oke Lantoro in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.
The Baale of Tobalase community, Chief Olú Odunfa had called for the state government assistance in providing them with new transformer to restore electricity supply to their community
The Chairman, Tobalase Community Development Association, Chief Elijah Gbadamosi during the visit had recounted how the challenge of lack of transformer had affected businesses and economic development of the area.
He pointed out that the transformer being used by the community and its environs is old and needed replacement, saying that the community had been in darkness for almost a month urging the government to quickly come to their aid.
Princess Shote while assuring the community of prompt attention to their request stated that data base of needed facilities in communities in the state had been take by the present administration, noting that more effort would be intensified to implement them.
Contributing, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Rural Developmen Mr Adetunji Kanimodo said that the Ministry would not relent in performing its responsibilities to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
