ERCAAN will collaborate with LASG, other stakeholders to phase-out quacks in the industry — Kassim

The Chairman, Lagos State Chapter of Estate Rent and Commission Agent Association of Nigeria, (ERCAAN) has revealed that the Association will work assiduously with the Lagos State Government and relevant stakeholders to phase out unprofessional practices in the Estate and Renting industry.

Hon. Kassim Adetokunbo Adeshina (EFA), made this known on Thursday, after he was sworn-in as the re-elected chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Association. An event which was monitored by Nigerian NewsDirect.

The ERCAAN boss, who was full enthusiasm, was quick to appreciate members of the organization for their dogged support in the course of the electioneering which eventually brought about his emergence.

According to him: “Today is historic in ERCAAN Lagos State Chapter as we have witnessed a transparent, free, and fair election which by the grace of Almighty God, I am being re-elected by our committed and dedicated Zonal  delegates throughout Lagos State.

“I am indebted to your loyalty, unflinching supports and dedicated commitments shown in ensuring a resounding victory, it shows your undiluted love and believe that together we would implement laudable programs that would uplift and transform our Association to greater heights.”

While unveiling his developmental plan for ERCAAN, he hinted that his administration will address serious issues mitigating  the growth of the Association which include; immediate raiding of Quack Agents, Building strategic relationship with Lagos State Government, Training of new members and re-training of veterans on Ethics and Code of Conduct, Expansion of Zones and Building robust relationship with media.

He re-emphasized that his administration will embark on aggressive raiding campaign aimed at flushing out quacks in the noble profession, build a sustained relationship with Government ministries, partner with media agent through jingles, several programmes and perfect methodology for additional zones in the state.   Meanwhile, the National President of ERCAAN, Hon. Godwin Alenkhe (EFA) has commended the frantic efforts of National Electoral Board of the Association, led by Engr. Adeshina,  the Chairman of the just dissolved interim bodies Hon. Ayodele Ojo EFA, The State Electoral Board led by Alhaji Shotunde, and Hon. Adenowo Abiodun Oluwagbenga (fipma,fimc,cmc), for job well done in conducting fair and free elections.

He advised the re-elected Chairman to uphold the tenths, nuances and vision of the organization, as he works circumspectly with all members.

In the same vein, the outgoing Public Relation Officer, who also doubles as the outgoing Secretary of the Laogs State Chapter of the Association, Hon. Adenowo  Abiodun Oluwagbenga (fipma,fimc,cmc) hinted the administration to advance the organization to the next level of success.

He recalled, that he and others were instrumental to bringing about quantum development in the Association.

He  therefore charged the administration to take the Association to the next level, even as he expressed optimism in the capacity of the crop of leaders who will be piloting the affairs of the organization.
