Two abducted OOU students regain freedom

Two female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Ayetoro Campus, headquarters of Yewa North local government of Ogun State, Adeyemo Precious and Oyefule Abiola abducted by some gunmen around 9pm of Sunday regained their freedom on Tuesday evening.
While Adeyemo Precious is studying Forestry and Wildlife Management, Oyefule Abiola is studying Agricultural Economics.
The gunmen were said to have come to rob a woman selling recharge cards of various telephone companies operating in the country but she was said not to have been around when these daredevil bandits came knocking.
The two female students who live in the building where the target of these criminal elements has her shop were said to be returning home when they ran into these bandits and got abducted.
According to statement from Senior Special Adviser to Gov. Dapo Abiodun on New Media, S F Ojo Emmanuel, late last night, the two students were said to have regained their freedom through the combined efforts of the Nigeria Police and were already on their way to reunite with their respective families.
Gov Abiodun had in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin vowed to ensure that the students were released to their respective families unhurt.
