Olofin Adimula seeks support towards actualization of an Ultra-Modern private residence, Infrastructural facilities in Ado-Odo

The Olofin Adimula of Ado-Odo, Awori Kingdom, Oba Dr. Abdul Lateef Adeniran Akanni, had sought for financial and moral support towards the building of his Ultra-Modern palace and other social infrastructural facilities in Ado-Odo community.
The highly referred monarch made this known on Saturday at Ogun State Housing Corporation Oke-Oyinbo, Ado -Odo, the venue of the official launching and foundation laying ceremony which was monitored by Nigerian Newsdirect.
The auspicious occasion was graced by men from all walks of life, including top-notch cum respected monarch, and Political top Echelon in the state.
Unveiling the underguiding philosophy of the project, Monarch said the project, though private in scope was borne out of the wide consultations of highly respected institutions, Government functionaries, and individuals.
“The Project being lauched today and commenced today is a private one and it is borne out of one of the recommendations of the state and non-state actors, including respectable Royal fathers, some of whom are here present. It is different from a replacement for the erstwhile decades Old-Odo Palace that was unjustifiably torched by misguided sections of our community in 2013.”
Olofin Adimula enthused confidence, that with the support of everyone and efficient, managerial skills of eminent person on board, realizing the dream of an Ultra-Modern palace and other social and infrastructural facilities in the community will be achievable.
“I, therefore, have no hesitation in seeking the support of all for renewed efforts towards the building of an ultra-modern palace for the Olofin of Ado-Odo. As a demonstration of my commitment to this dream and after due consultations, we will come up with the names of eminent persons who will be saddled with responsibility of leading us all in procuring a new palace for the ancient town of Ado-Odo.”
“I believe that with the help and support of our people, home and abroad, we will embark on the journey of building an ultra-modern and befitting palace of ours soon.”
“Together, we can also embark on massive provision of needed social amenities, such as completion of our Modern Hospital, Private and Public higher institutions , portable water and security.” He said.
Furthermore, The Olofin Adimula seeks collaboration of all stakeholers in the community towards making Ado-Odo great again.
The traditional revealed that he is committed to empowering the youth through appropriate vacational training and employment opportunities.
“The development of our dear kingdom, Ado-Odo is my concern and to make Ado-Odo kingdom great again is our collective responsibility. Olofin Adimula can not do it alone, I therefore use this opportunity to seek the support of all and sundry to join hands with me to make “Ado-Odo recalim her glory.”
I am hopeful that with the support of the Ogun State Government through the ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and of course, the Yewa Traditional Council, Coronet Oba’s will be installed in Ado area as soon as possible and more Baales will be installed to reclaim and protect the nooks and cranny of our domain. There is no gainsaying the fact that Ado kingdom deserve her fair of Part III Traditional Rulers.”
He hinted on this developmental voyage and vision for the younger generation.
He said, “In the meantime, a number of communities already have Baales-Elect which are waiting to get nod of the Olofin as the Prescribed Authority while some others are at different stages of thier nomination process “
“My commitment to the realization of appropriate education and vocational training for our youth remains strong , as we are set to redouble our efforts towards the facilitation of scholarships and vocational training with job opportunities for them. We will not relent on our efforts in getting the needed attention of the government in other areas of our need.
To this end, we respectfully appeal to the state government to come to our aids on Ado-Odo/ Owode Road.”
Expressing his profund gratitude, The monarch, thanks profusely the Governor of Ogun State, Prince(Dr) Dapo Abiodun, MFR whom he acknowledged for the construction of Ado-Odo- Ikoga Zebbe(Lagos State border), the Deputy Governor, Eng. (Mrs) Noimot Salako- Oyedele, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape, the Commissioner of forestry, Hon. Tunji Akinosi.
Also, the Ogun state Council of Obas, under the chairman of Alayeluwa. Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Adetona, the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land, the Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land, Oba Kehinde Olugbenle, the Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Alayeluwa, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo and the Paramount Ruler of Remo Land, Alayeluwa, Oba Babatunde Ajayi.
The Olota of Otta, Oba (Prof.) Abdul- Kabir Obalanlege, the organizing Committee of the event, chaired by Mr Ramon Olanrewaju Nasir, members of Awori Oba forum in Ogun State and Lagos, religious leaders, Olofin Concern forum, Olofin Tink Tank, Ado- Odo development foundation and many others.
