Abimbola Abatta, Osogbo

Three persons have been remanded by an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court for alleged kidnapping.

The accused persons Olalekan Alawe, 39, Idris Ganiyu, 24, and Raji Hammed, 28 allegedly committed the offence around 5 pm at Testing Ground Area in Osogbo, Osun State.

The prosecutor, Temitope Fatoba, told the court that the accused persons kidnapped one Olajide waidi and took him to an unknown destination.

He said the accused persons prevented any person entitled to the victim to have access to him in order not to discover where he was imprisoned.

In his ruling, Magistrate Isola Omisade remanded the accused persons and requested for a formal bail application.

The case was adjourned till February 11, 2021, for hearing.
