Embrace herbs as solution to Coronavirus, practitioner urges gov’t

An Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) based herbalist, Dr Ndulaka Ezeji has drawn the attention of the Federal Government (FG) to herbs, saying the branch of medicine has been curing the dreaded COVID-19 – 19 pandemic that has been ravaging the globe.

Speaking to journalists  recently at an event in Abuja, Ndulaka said that herbal medicines have been succeeding where there orthodox counterparts have been failing.

Informing that they have been curing the pandemic with herbs, Chief Ndulaka however said that the pandemic was not far from acute malaria and described it as a disease of the liver. Though he attributed causes of modern diseases to abandonment of nutritious and native foods which he said was the magic behind the good health and longevity of life people in ancient time enjoyed, but he was quick to add that diseases like HIV, among others were curable with herbs.

Beckoning government at all levels to to embrace herbs and also urging them to as a matter of urgency and importance arrange for a meeting with them and  herbal practitioners to see the power of herbs over their orthodox counterparts, the herbalist therefore said that the orthodox medicines were manufactured from herbs. He said that Nigerians were blessed with all sources of herbal medicines, just as he added that if herbs were encouraged  and utilised, the problems posed by modern diseases would be reduced to the barest minimum.
