5 DCG’s, 8 ACG’s receive appointments from Nigerian Customs Board

Nigerian Customs spokesperson, Abdullahi Maiwada has revealed that the Nigerian Customs Service Board on Wednesday, 15th May, 2024 has confirmed the appointment of five Deputy Comptrollers general and eight Assistant Comptrollers general.

The total appointees who were 12 in number had their appointments confirmed at the Service 59th regular meeting which held on Tuesday, 14th May, 2024 and coordinating minister for the economy, Wale Edun, was held at the Nigeria Customs Service Headquarters in Abuja.

The Deputy Comptrollers General (DCGs) are:

OO PETERS DCG /Commander Training and Doctrine Command (rtd),

IBM JIBO (DCG Enforcement Inspection & Investigation,

IBU NWANFOR, DCG Excise, Free Trade Zone & Industrial Incentives,

SA BOMAI DCG (Commander Training and Doctrine Command) and CK NIAGWAN (DCG Tariff & Trade)

  1. CK NIAGWAN DCG Tariff & Trade.

 The Assistant Comptrollers General (ACGs) are:

  1. IMAM, ACG Board,

AAS OLOYEDE ACG (Trade & Tariff),

SK DANGALDIMA (ACG/Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘B’),

  1. ABDUL AZEEZ, ACG/Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘D’,

SA YUSUF ACG, Human Resource Development,

NP UMOH, ACG Training and Doctrine Command,

CO OBIH (ACG/Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘C’) and

  1. CHIROMA, ACG Strategic Research and Policy
