46 year old Enugu teacher delivers quadruplets, turns to the public for financial aid
A 46 year old teacher, Mrs Sabina Mamah who hails from Obollo Orie in Udenu Council Area of Enugu State has taken it upon herself to seek financial assistance from the public after she gave birth to three boys and a girl on April 23rd, 2024 after 14 years of marriage without conceiving.
She noted that she got married in 2010 to her husband, Christopher who is a tipper driver, but getting pregnant had been an issue until the birth of her quadruplets. According to her, she got pregnant around October 2023 and was informed she was carrying quadruplets after an ultra sound. She further stated that she delivered her babies on April 23, through caesarian (CS).
She called on well meaning Nigerians to come to their aid as she said that she was detained at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) in Enugu alongside her babies after not being able to pay her delivery bill amounting to N40,000.
She also noted that “on Sunday, a good Samaritan cleared the bill for the babies amounting to N600, 000”, but they still owed money for the items bought at the hospital and also the delivery fee. In her plea, she also called on the Enugu state Government to help them salvage the situation so that they can go home.
