39 investors gain, as equities market records 19 losers

The Nigerian equities market recorded 39 investors gaining positively and 19 investors losing.

This is as the investors gained N113.07 billion with the market ending positively generally.

The NGX All-Share Index advanced by 0.25 percent, closing at 71,014.34 basis points, compared to the previous day’s gain of 0.32 percent, which closed at 70,840.72 basis points. The NGX Market CAP also recorded a gain of N113.07billion in Naira terms.

The total volume traded declined by 9.18 percent to close at N297.35 million, valued at N6.16billion and traded in 6,172 deals. OANDO was the most traded stock by volume with N27.97 million, while NESTLE was the most traded stock by value with N2.34billion units traded.

The Gote Index advanced by 0.06 percent to close at 188.99, while the Toni index declined by 0.32 percent to close at 360.47 basis points.

OANDO had the highest trade volume with 9.41 percent, while AIICO and JAPAULGOLD followed closely behind.

According to the value chart, NESTLE is at the top with a 38.04 percent contribution. MTNN and GTCO followed closely behind.
