$24bn revenue: Nigeria must transit from crude to blue — NIMASA DG

The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh has said that with over $24billion in potential revenues and tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs to be created via the Blue Economy, Nigeria must not be left out.
In a post on his social media handles on Monday, the NIMASA DG expressed excitement over the ongoing messages and advocacies that the Blue Economy is generating from various sections.
According to Dr. Bashir Jamoh, “Recently, at the Bullion Lecture, I was privileged as keynote speaker to make a case for Nigeria to transition from Crude to Blue.
“I am pleased with the tremendous excitement the message and advocacy on the Blue Economy are generating from various sections of professionals, business owners, students, civil society and policymakers.
“With over $24billion in potential revenues and tens of thousands of direct and indirect jobs to be created, Nigeria must not be left out.”
