2023 Guber: Benue South throws weight behind Fr. Dr Hyacinth Alia

…Vows to work tirelessly, collectively for his victory

Benue South Senatorial district, Zone C, has unanimously accepted the candidature of Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, promising to work tirelessly and collectively to ensure that his victory is guaranteed at the forthcoming Benue gubernatorial election.

Speaking at Victoria Event Center, GRA Otukpo, Zone C  people said they were very passionate about Fr. Alia’s project because of his background, believing that he represents the interest of the common man and is out for a liberation mission.

The leader of APC in Zone C, Alhaji Usaman Abubakar Dan Maishanu, popularly known as ‘Young Alhaji’ presented the governorship aspirant whom he described as the number One to the people of Zone C describing him  as a prelate whom the people of Zone C are looking up to.

They prayed that among his equals Fr. Alia should be chosen the first and when he becomes the governor of the state, he should remember the people of Zone C.

Responding, Fr. Alia called on the people to join their voices and efforts to right all the wrongs in the state, explaining that his mission was predicated on the urgent need to rescue Benue from the whims and caprices of prolonged mis-governance.

He appreciated the people for turning out en masse to welcome and identify with him, disclosing that he has come in the spirit of genuineness and sincerity.

Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia had earlier paid homage to the Ochidoma V, His Royal Majesty, Agaba Idu Dr John Odogbo Elaigwu at the temporary palace of Ochidoma, Otukpo where he received Royal Blessings.
