The Chairman of People’s Democratic party (PDP) in Osun state, Dr. Akindele Adekunle has revealed that his party is prepared to win all the legislative seats and the Presidential ticket in the 2023 General elections.
He stated this during an interview with Nigerian NewsDirect at the Workshop for Candidates of PDP for the 2023 General Elections held in Abuja on Friday.
Dr. Adekunle said ” It wasn’t a rocket science that we won the July 16th, 2022 Governorship Election in the state but we have prepared for a change in the state that has been badly managed by the All Progressive Party (APC) Government for the past 12years and alot of people wanted us to come to their rescue.
“For the state House of Assembly, Federal House of Representatives, the Senate and the Presidential Election I’m pretty sure that we will emerge victorious considering the rigorous effort we put during the Governorship Election.
The Chairman stressed that they are strategizing to Campaign vigorously from the various local government Councils, communities calling on the people to come out en mass to vote for PDP in the Presidential Election and the legislative seats in the coming Elections.
He urged the electorates to replicate the previous gesture by monitoring the Elections to ensure that their votes is counted and announced at the polling units.
Speaking on the sideline of the workshop the Chairman stressed that the leadership dynamic event is timely for the candidates and it will guide them through a teamwork towards achieving success in the Elections.
