2023 elections: New Nigeria possible through Asiwaju/Shettima – APC Chieftain

The grand patron of the Tinubu/Shettima volunteers in Bayelsa State and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Festus Daumiebi has said a new Nigeria is possible with Asiwaju/Shettima in charge of the country as the custodians of security and economy.

Daumiebi on Wednesday told the gathering of the members of Asiwaju/Shettima volunteers that the need for credible, competent and development-oriented leaders like Tinubu/Shettima to be entrusted with the responsibility of building the new Nigeria of our dreams was not negotiable.

He emphasized that the antecedents of both leaders in their respective states when they held sway as helmsmen were excellent, calling on the people of the state and non-indigenes to massively vote for all the APC candidates in the state with its Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Shettima in the February 25th general elections.

Daumiebi, while inaugurating the unit, wards and local government area coordinators of the group for the Asiwaju/Shettima project in Yenagoa, the state capital, reminded the people of how the PDP had been given opportunities to develop the country and particularly Bayelsa State but failed woefully.

He stated such a political party and its presidential candidate with baggage of multiple corruption allegations and indictments cannot be entrusted with collective patrimony at this critical time in the country’s history, especially, when it is struggling with daunting challenges ranging from the economy to security

The APC chieftain called on the people of Bayelsa State not to be deceived by the antics of failed politicians who remember them only during election years.

Those inaugurated at the meeting were unit agents, community coordinators, ward agents, LGA coordinators and a central coordinating body for the State, headed by West Karitongha Japhet.

In his response on behalf of those inaugurated, Japhet assured the people of their commitment to round all towns and villages across the nooks and crannies in the state to mobilise support for the victory of our Presidential candidates and all other party candidates in the ballot.
