The Personal Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari on New Media, Mr. Bashir Ahmad has hinted on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the preferred choice of Buhari for the 2023 presidential election.
Ahmad, who is the personal assistant to the president on New Media made this hint on his verified Twitter handle @Bashirahmaad yesterday while reacting to a tweet by one of his followers who had said “Bashir I want to ask you a question and same time with a honest reply without being bias. Between Tinubu and Goodluck Jonathan, who would you prefer to take over from your boss? you also want the best for us too.”
Also yesterday, the Director General, Tinubu’s support Group, Abdulmumin Jibrin laid credence to this hint when he disclosed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu and President Muhammadu Buhari were brothers that no one could separate regardless.
Hon. Jibrin, a former member of the House of Representatives said, through his verified social media handle.
While describing President Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu, a presidential aspirant, as inseparable brothers, Abdulmumin noted that the All Progressives Congress, (APC), National Leader is loyal to Buhari.
In a tweet, the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Management Council, insisted that both men make up the ruling party.
The former lawmaker stressed that Buhari and Tinubu know where they are coming from and where they are going.
According to Jibrin, “Just leave President Buhari and his brother, loyalist and ally Asiwaju Tinubu. You can’t come between them. You just can’t.
“Both of them are APC and APC is both of them. They know where they are coming from and they know where they are headed. Nothing but gratefulness to God.”
Meanwhile, in continuation of his consultation visits, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will today visit His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M), Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, in continuation of consultations to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
The former Lagos State Governor on Sunday met with the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, and the Olubadan designate, Lekan Balogun, to receive their royal blessing to become the next President of Nigeria.
Also, he had earlier paid a similar visit to the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, and Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona at his Ijebu-Ode palace.
The APC national leader, who is determined not to leave any stone unturned has also extended the consultation to political stakeholders and some prominent monarchs across the country.
He would be consulting with Nigerians and international friends about his ambition.
It would be recalled that Tinubu had during his visit to President Buhari in Aso Rock Villa in January, declared his ambition to succeed him in 2023.
