2023 Election as it concerns Ile Ife.

Let’s ask ourselves these pertinent questions

Is Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu a Yoruba person?

Is he from South West Nigeria?

Ooni of Ife no doubt is regarded as the head of all Oba in Yorubaland, True or False, the answer depends on who you are and where you come from!

Ile-Ife is a city located in southwestern Nigeria. The city is considered to be the cradle of Yoruba culture and civilization. True or False. According to legend, Ile-Ife was founded by a man named Oduduwa who is regarded as the progenitor and Father of Yoruba race. True or False. Oduduwa was once a King in Ile Ife.

Bola Tinubu may come from Lagos State, yet he is a Yoruba Man and very well connected to Ile Ife.

He may be a member of All progressives congress (APC), yet he is a Yoruba man.

Who is that a Yoruba Person that is not connected to Ile Ife, the town remain known as the Origin of Yoruba land. The Modakeke, the Ibadans, Oyo Alaafin, The Binis and even the Lagosians have never denied the fact of their connection to Ile- Ife, the cradle of Yoruba race.

The Ooni is the father of all, Ile Ife is therefore the home for all the Yorubas no matter their place of birth.

Home is where love resides, home is where love is demonstrated. Home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams

Today, Tinubu our kinsman is seeking Ifes support, he is contesting against non-Yoruba, non Ife, he sees Ife as his home, kindness goes a long ways lots of times when its shown mostly at home. Will Ile Ife his home denied their son the much-needed affection come 2023?

To all my brothers and sisters wherever you are and especially in Ife federal constituency, the whole world is looking at us, the whole nation is waiting for what comes out of Ile Ife as votes. Will votes from Modakeke, Ipetumodu and Ife South outnumbered that of Ifes. This 3023 is going to be a test case of how loveable we could be towards Yoruba sons and daughters. It’s going be a yardstick to measure how much we love our own people. It’s on record, Ife voted for Obasanjo.

Charity, they say begins at home, Ile Ife is the home for we all. Isn’t it?

Whatever we do in February 2023 on presidential election shall become history regardless of our party affiliation…
