The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Mr Ali Abubakar, has cautioned officials and members of the party against anti-party activities in the area.
Abubakar gave the warning in a meeting with party officials on Tuesday in Doma.
He said that the meeting was aimed at discussing the way forward in fostering unity among members of the party in the area.
“It is also to ensure the success and victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule and other APC candidates in the area during the 2023 general elections.
“Let’s all remain united for the victory of our party beyond 2023,” he said.
Abubakar said that the party would not condone anti-party activities and urged party officials and members to forget the past and embrace team work for progress.
Also speaking, Alhaji Mustapha Yahaya-Idris, APC Candidate for Doma North constituency appreciated the Chairman for organising the meeting and called for its sustenance.
He said that unity and peace are key factors in ensuring the victory of the party come 2023 and beyond.
Yahaya-Idris assured them of sound and quality representation if elected.
Also, APC Youth Leader, Mr Ibrahim Sule, and APC Woman Leader, Mrs Lami Usman in the area assured of the commitment to team work for the victory of the party.
They called on political office holders in the area to continue to contribute positively towards the success of the party.
