2023 AFCON: Super Eagles’ camp swells with 12 players

12 players are now in the Super Eagles camp ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Guinea-Bissau.

The team’s camp opened officially on Monday morning.

Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo, Semi Ajayi, Ademola Lookman and Kevin Akpoguma were among the early arrivals at the team’s John Woods Hotel base.

Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo arrived in camp on Monday afternoon to increase the number to 12.

The remaining 11 players are still being expected.

The Super Eagles will have their first official training later this evening at the practice pitch of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The players in camp are Akpoguma, Aribo, Iheanacho, Lookman, Iwobi, Ajayi, Aniagboso, Uzoho, Ndidi, Bameyi, Omeruo.
