2023: Adeola rounds up campaign, vows to improve fortunes of Ogun West if elected on Saturday

The Ogun West senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, on Thursday, vowed to to use his tenure at the red chamber to pursue programmes and policies that will enhance the fortunes of the senatorial district should he he be elected on Saturday.

The ranking Senator promised never to take the electorate in the district for granted but rather reciprocate their love for him with projects that will always make life more bearable for all.

Senator Adeola fondly called Yayi gave this assurance while addressing the mammoth crowd at the mega rally and grand finale of his senatorial campaign, held at the NUD Primary School in Ilaro, Yewa South LGA on Thursday.

The lawmaker equally urged the electorate to vote the candidates of the ruling party in the forthcoming presidential and national assembly elections.

Adeola pointed out that the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration had performed creditably well in office, urging the people to vote for continuity of good governance on Saturday.

He noted that apart from keeping Nigeria’s unity intact, the president, through his government’s various policies, has lifted many Nigerians out of poverty, hence, the need for the people to ensure the APC and all its candidates are voted at the polls.

While saying that his campaign tour had enabled him to witness the infrastructural gaps and socioeconomic deficit in Ogun West, he assured the people that he would work and concentrate on programmes capable of turning around the fortune of the Ogun West people, if he is elected senator.

According to him, challenges facing Ogun West had been identified by when traversed the 59 wards during his campaign, noting he would immediately embark on presenting these challenges at the senate, if given the mandate to represent the senatorial district.

Adeola further promised the gathering that he would not be a senator who would abandon his senatorial district and the people, reiterating that he would recreate quality representation in Ogun West as he did in the Lagos West senatorial district.

The senator, who is the chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, however, congratulated the Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun, on the landing of four aeroplanes at the Gateway Agro-Cargo airport, Iperu, saying the feat has further placed Ogun on the world economic map.

He added that the governor had recorded landmark achievements less than four years in office, imploring the people of Ogun to vote massively for the APC on February 25 and March 11 elections.
