2018 World Cup: How Nigerians reacted to Partey’s advice to Iceland on how to beat Super Eagles

Super Eagles fans have criticized Ghanaian and Atletico Madrid midfielder, Thomas Partey for giving Iceland ideas on how to beat Nigeria during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Nigeria will face Iceland at Volgograd Arena on June 22 in one of the Group D matches in Russia.

Newsmen recalls that Partey on Thursday advised Iceland on how to defeat Genort Rohr’s men.

Partey who is well acquainted with Nigeria and recently travelled to Uyo with his Spanish club, Atletico for a friendly with Super Eagles Team B, said all teams in Africa, including Nigeria cannot defend corner kick and free kick.

Below are some reactions on Twitter gathered by newsmen.

@orientedoloye: “This Thomas party of Ghana is a true African goat. You’re playing in atletico is just a chance that will die very soon.”

@folayan_ajanaku: “Look at this Enemy of Progress, that your country is not in the world does that mean that you should be tarnishing the image of others

@Jobson Javiilian: “This is one reason among severals that made the Whiteman persistently be asking if anything good can come out of a black-skin. Does anyone think an English player will ever tell Nigeria team on how to beat Spain? Truly, a shithole is naturally a shithole & PDT was right. Can Africans grow out of the nature of a black-skin while in Africa? Partey, you are a disgrace to African soccer success. Shame!”

@Uti Matthew: “What a betrayal! No wonder he wanted to injure and maim our players at uyo because our boys outplayed and rubbished him in that game. Evil African from Ghana.”

@Okwudili Engrid: “Judas thank God Ghana is from Africa. He’s a fool you are selling your Africa brother out”.

@Olamide whyte: “how come he did not qualify so he can beat them”.

@gentlelink: “Lol see bad belle ohhhh.”
