They, however, pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge brought against them by the police.

The prosecutor, Insp Courage Ekhueorohan, told the court that the duo committed the offences on Dec. 11 at No. 9, Iginla St., Itire Surulere.

He alleged that the duo burgled the apartment of one Mrs Glory Ogbodo (complainant) and stole property worth N810, 000.

The prosecutor submitted that the duo stole a 42-inch Plasma television set, a GOtv decoder, a rechargeable clipper and a rechargeable fan.

According to the prosecutor, the offences contravene Sections 280 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

The Magistrate, Mrs O. O. Otitoju, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100, 000 each with two sureties in like sum.
