The Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh has appreciated the good people of Gboko West of finding him worthy and giving him their mandate to represent them at the Benue State House of Assembly.
Hon. Dajoh, also promised not to disappoint the trust his constituency have in him by overwhelmingly giving him their mandate and uncommon support to represent them.
The Speaker gave the appreciation while addressing his mammoth constituency at a reception in his honor at Smile View Hotel Makurdi, shortly after his emergence as the Honourable Speaker.
He promised to ensure quality legislation in the Assembly for the over all good of the constituency and the State at large.
He thanked everyone of their individual and collective support to his political journey and pray for unending blessings from God to actualize the positive objectives he has for his constituency..
The Speaker remain thankful to the Governor of the State Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, The Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Leader of APC in Benue State, Senator George Akume for their fatherly roles played in his political journey and above all APC for providing a platform for him to contest.
On his part, the Director General, Regionalization Campaign Organization 2023, Hon. Peter Akumbur who spoke to Nigerian NewsDirect at his Makurdi Residence, , attributed the emergence of the Speaker to God and described it as unique opportunity that God has given to Gbemacha constituency and the Mbataiv people in particular
Hon. Akumbur charged the people of Gboko West to rally round the new Speaker with good intentions and support to enable him succeed.
In an interview with Journalists, President General, Mbatiav Development Association, through the Secretary General, Asoona Peter Anumkase, assured the Speaker of the Association unending support and blessings to succeed.
The Convener Divine Mandate Port Harcourt, Terna Ioryoosu and the Managing Director Pumpking Oilfield Services limited Port Harcourt, Godwin Kare, who have traveled all the way from Port Harcourt to Makurdi to identify with the newest Speaker, noted that the 10th Benue State House of Assembly Members have exhibited what he referred to as ind&y UI 6u6 poorependence, competence preparatory for quality legislation.
They explained that for members of the assembly to have confident in the young man and anointed him to lead them in the capacity of Speaker , is a clear indication that they have seecleared up on substance of leadership in him that is not in doubt.
