100 Nasarawa indigenes to receive leadership award of excellence

The Inspiring Youth Africa Magazine has selected 100 Nasarawa indigenes for award of excellence and exemplary leadership.

The group in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja by its Executive Director, Mr Jeremiah Agala, said that the nominees were carefully selected by a team of independent experts from various sectors.

The nominees according to Agala, include Gov. Abdulahi Sule of Nasarawa State, former Governor, Sen. Tanko Al-Makura, 2023 PDP governorship candidate Rep. David Ombugadu, Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and IDPs among others.

Agala said that some of the criteria used in selecting the nominees includes championing the course of excellent leadership and enterprise, distinct patriotic zeal toward youths and grassroot developments.

Others are nation building, contribution to humanity, defending the course of the down trodden and commitment to democratic values, processes and practice.

“The conferment of award will be done at a highly celebrated reception alongside the Nasarawa State Youth Leadership and Enterprise Conference on Saturday, April 29 at the Ta’al Hotel and Events Center, Lafia, Nasarawa State at 10am.

“This award is expected to be presented by the Governor of Nasarawa State,

“This platform will offer an opportunity for interface with over 500 youth leaders from across the state and other high profile awardees who represent the very best of leaders in the state,” he said.
