100 Days: Gov. Eno has surpass our expectations — A’Ibom PDP

Akwa Ibom State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the 100 days of the State Governor, Pst Umo Eno as very impactful saying; he has surpassed the expectations of the people.
Speaking with journalists against the backdrop of the attainment of 100 days of the governor in Uyo, the State capital, the party’s Organizing Secretary, Barrister Moses Akpan, said that Pst Éno has not disappointed the people since he was inaugurated in January 2022.
“All I can say is that Akwa Ibom people are so blessed that they are in for a good deal. From the beginning of this journey when Pst Umo Éno was unveiled to some of us who have the privilege to be around; exactly on the 30th of January, 2022 from that period marked the beginning of what I can described as the journey to the discovery of a golden hand that will manage the political affairs of Akwa Ibom People,” he said.
Barrister Akpan, who was the immediate Chapter Chairman of the PDP in Ikono Local Government Area said, since assumption of office in May 2023, the governor had made indelible marks in the area of welfare, education, adding that his demystification of governance had endeared him to the people.
He said, “In terms of welfare, we are blessed with a man of God who is dealing with Akwa Ibom people as a great shepherd, taking care of his sheeps. Pst Umo Éno is making it easier for us in the party. So far, I can describe him as a chief campaigner because the basic things about party politics is relating with the people.
“Within the first three months, he has shown capacity, altruistic leadership, competence and sincerity. We are happy that at the party level, we have a product that we can use as a brand across the entire country.
“He has demystified governance trying to let the ordinary man know that governance is not about distancing oneself from the people but; working with them to achieve good governance.”
In the area of education, Barrister Akpan said, “I am so proud to be identified with what Pst Umo Éno is doing. He has come out with a model already and the pupils of Chris the King School popularly called, ‘CKS’ on Wellington Bassey Way in the metropolis were surprised when the governor stopped by and discovered that the school ought to be a model.
“He has started cleaning up the school and what you are going to see will be a prototype that he is going to established and duplicate it across the State,” he said.
