Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has warned contract rebel, Alexis Sanchez, that he has the board’s backing over his future.
Sanchez is refusing to sign a new Gunners deal and has made it clear he wants to quit the Emirates.
But Wenger is adamant that he will see out the last year of his current contract at least.
“Yes, the board back me to make the decisions on the technical front. Is that comings and goings? That is technical,” the Frenchman said.
Wenger does not want to sell the 28-year-old especially to a Premier League rival, even if it means allowing the £80million-rated Chilean go for free next summer.
