Senator Suswam has no plan to leave PDP – Zendesha

The Personal Assistant to the Senator representing Benue North East Senatorial District also known as zone ‘A’ at the National Assembly Mr.Michael  Zendesha has debunked in it entirety the news item published on the 15th September,2019 by online publication  Daily Post and spreading round  that his principal Dr. Gabriel Suswam has opened talks with All Progressives Congress (APC) Northern Political heavy wings ahead of 2023 general elections.

Added that he is interested in joining the ruling All Progressives Congress leadership.

This is contained in a press release signed by the Personal Assistant to Senator Gabriel Torwua Suswam Mr. Michael Zendesha and made available to Nigerian NewsDirect, state categorically that Senator Gabriel Suswam has no intention of in which ever form leave the PDP, where he has enjoyed firm support at the national, state and across all local governments, wards and units of the party.

He called on media, members of the public and Benue People in general to disregard the speculations.

Zendesha described the news as false, fake and unfounded designed by detractors of the Senator with the aim of tarnishing the hard earned reputation of the Senator and the Peoples Democratic Party.

The speculators of such news are  threatened by the wide and unanimous acceptance and support which the Senator enjoys from his people and colleagues at the National Assembly.

He further stated that his Principal’s  popularity within the party and across the country is overwhelming and warned the few deviant propagandists and their sponsors to desist from the irresponsible act of trying to spread falsehood.

He noted that distinguished Senator Gabriel Torwua Suswam also two term former House of Representative member for Ukum, Katsina – ALa and Logo Federal constituency and the two term former Governor of Benue State, on the platform of PDP had stood with the PDP since the return of Democracy in 1999 and would not contemplate of leaving the party he has nurtured for many years at this point in time.
