Recession: Nigerians will smile in 2017 — Abiara

The General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet ( Dr) Samuel Kayode Abiara has said that better times await Nigerians as they will smile in 2017.

He stated this in his New Year message made available to Nigerian NewsDirect.

According to him, Nigerians have no reason to worry about the economic recession rather, it is going to be a thing of the past.

In his words, “God will do a new thing. God Himself will revive the economy of this nation. God will do a new thing. Don’t listen to the Prophecy of doom this year, you are God’s people. God owns this nation.

“This year is your year, a year of happiness, a year of grace, a year that you will achieve good things. This year don’t fear because God will be your Alpha and Omega if you can move closer to God this year”, he said.

He however urged Nigerians to work hard citing the bible as a reference point.

“According to Genesis 3:19, the bible says In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

“So, this year, do not be a lazy person, a lazy woman, or a lazy student. You must work because God works. You can’t afford to be lazy this year. Don’t be a lazy man this year.”

He also enjoined people to be cheerful givers adding that it is the secret of prosperity.

“This year, endeavour to be a giver. Give as God blesses you. Your land is too many, your house is everywhere, and your money is everywhere. Let the poor people benefit out of your blessings. Don’t forget you will die one day, so give, give. Give and give”, he added.
