Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has said he does not pay attention to the fans’ frustrations, after their 2-2 draw with Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night.
Marco Asensio was Madrid’s saviour, scoring twice including a late equalizer, as Zidane’s men dropped points for the first time this season in La Liga.
Speaking after the game, Zidane also refused to blame striker Karim Benzema, who missed several good chances to win the match.
“The fans can do what they want. The important thing is that Karim has the chances and he did.
“Tonight he didn’t score but that doesn’t matter. We have to keep smiling because this is football.
“Sometimes things don’t work out but you have to be patient. We don’t bother with what the supporters think, they come here and cheer us on, just like today,” the French tactician said.
