Police storms criminals’ den in Ogun

The men of the Nigeria police force has  stormed   fake ritualists’ shrine in ijoko a suburb of Sango Ota in Ogun state, where fraudulent and other criminal activities are carried out by the men of underworld.

Late last week, the  Nigeria NewsDirect gathered that several people were duped by some  unscrupulous individuals, who claimed to be native doctors and money doublers.

 According to reliable sources the group duped the unsuspecting citizens by posing as money lenders and spiritualist capable of providing solutions to their pecuniary problems.

The sources informed that the group through this means fleece the people who came to seek for the financial help from them by asking them for consultation fees and registration fees running into millions of Naira.

An eye witness who pleaded anonymity disclosed to NewsDirect that the  ritualists’ shrine is owned by a woman whose husband happens to be a former councilor of the Ijoko ward.

“The woman is the wife to the former councilor of our ward, she is popularly known as madam Opeyemi. She has  a beer parlor, where she sells drinks and lure people who came to buy drinks to engage in money doubling, there by fleecing the people of their hard earned  money.”

Until nemesis caught up with them when the Nigeria police force uncovered the place where they are using, as  a result of a woman who was defrauded of  about N10 million” the eye witness said.

NewsDirect also gathered that nothing less than 80 people have been duped at the shrine.

At the scene of the event several fake currencies were also recovered by the police.
