The Rivers State Police Command has said it will soon charge a middle-aged man, simply identified as Inimgba, to court for allegedly beating his seven-year-old son to death.
The man was said to have hit his little son named, George Tamunoibuemie with a hard object leading to his death.
Speaking with newsmen, Spokesman of the Command, Nnamdi Omoni said the police will take their next action after a post mortem has been conducted on the boy.
Omoni who is a Deputy Superintendent of Police said the police will ensure that the boy got justice.

He called on members of the public to always report any case of child abuse to the police.
“We are waiting for the post mortem report of the little before we conclude our investigation.
“We also have report that the step-mother of the boy maltreate him but we need to confirm that before bringing her in.
“The blood of the innocent boy is asking for justice and we must do just that,” he said.
Sources say Inimgba who is being held in Trans Amadi Police station was fond of beating his son.
