The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, (PHED), has restored power supply to Woji Estate, Nvigwe and Alcon Road in Obio Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State after several weeks.
It was gathered that the area has been without power supply for weeks after a faulty Woji 33/11kv Injection Substation.
Confirming this to our correspondent, John Onyi, Manager Corporate Communications, PHED, described the restoration of supply as cheerful news. He commended the residents of the affected feeder for their patience and understanding while the work lasted.
Onyi assured that PHED would not leave any stone unturned in her quest for safe and efficient service delivery to her esteemed customers within the franchise area of coverage.
He urged Customers to settlement their outstanding electricity bill as at September 2017 and noted that the December 2017 bill would only be based on 9 days consumption in November 2017 being the period the supply was restored.
