The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Baba Tela has said that people of Bauchi State have done everything for their government and that it is left for the government to deliver.
Baba Tela said the people of the state deserve good governance in replication of their support throughout the electioneering and judicial process.
He maintained that the administration of the Governor Bala Mohammed must not fail to make impact on the lives of the people after the Supreme Court judgement.
He said the Bala Mohammed administration did not promise to change the State within the period of one and three years but “within the period that we are in –0month to 48months.”.
The Deputy Governor who was reacting to their victory in Azare during the weekend said Bauchi electorate have given their all to the administration and it is left for the government to “really sit down and do something to justify the love and confidence the people gave us.”
He said that the “people of the Bauchi have done everything for us, it is now left for us to deliver. Though, we have challenges of finance and others but we have to find a way to overcome those challenges as a leader, that is leadership.”
Baba Tela reminded that Mohammed administration didn’t make promises that would be delivered within the period of 12 months, “we made promises that we hoped to delivered within the period that we are in –0month to 48months. We made a lot of promises but not a promise of one, two or three years.” He added that the promises would be delivered within the period.
