…charge Nigerians to live together in peace

Oyo State Command of Peace Corp of Nigeria has charged Nigerians to embrace peace saying that peace is paramount towards the socioeconomic existence of mankind in world, africans and Nigeria at large
The commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria, Mr. Lukman Yekini disclosed this during a peaceful walk to commemorate the international day of peace in Ibadan .
The walk which took place within Ibadan metropolis symbolises the advocacy for simple coexistence of the human race to live in peace.
Speaking on the theme ,which was tagged “Climate Action for Peace”,Yekini enjoined all Nigerians regardless of any tribes to embrace peace, saying that when there is peace, there will be development and progress in the country .
“It is our firm belief that our word of peace will spread and everyone will realise the need for peace to continue to reign paramount towards the socioeconomic existence of mankind in world, africans and Nigeria at large.”
He said that the United Nations General Assembly is devoted to strengthen the idea of peace both within and among the nations and people of the world.
The commandant, therefore,urged all Nigerians to spreading the word of peace and allow peace to reign in individual’s heart in the Local level, State, Federal,Africa and all over the world
“This is our message to the world as we join other nations around the globe today to commemorate the international day of peace”he said
“The leaders may have good plans but when there is no peace, those plans won’t be achievable.Let us live together in peace.”he adviced
