Ogun to establish  driving Institute

The Ogun State government has commenced its effort in establishing a well driving Institute in the state which will enhance more safety on our roads by certifying the road users on how to drive perfectly within and beyond the state.

 This fact was made known to Nigerian News Direct by the state chief vehicle inspection officer (VIO),  Engr. Ademehin Olugboyega during an exclusive chat in its office at the state capital Abeokuta.

Engr. Olugboyega said that the VIO helps in checking the effectiveness of this driving institute in regulating all the necessary functionality of this institute and which they pay their dues to the state internal revenue purse of the state.

Speaking further, The Vehicle Inspection officer are established to check and ascertain the class of vehicle a person can drive by giving him the accurate drivers license befor the FRSC endorsed it he said.

Nevertheless, he attributed the caurse of road accidents to some care less drivers in which of the mechanical errors and human error are the most higest of it all he added.

He said the mechanical errors which could cause a sudden break failure.

Also, a reputable companies usually give adequate sensitization to their drivers at all times but the challenges that face the traffic agencies is  that majority of unexperienced people drives and this usually causes unwanted accidents. he said.

Engr Olugboyega pleaded with all road drivers to drive in their best interest in order to avert the punitive measure of the government.
