Ogah vows to develop steel sector for automobile industry

The newly sworn-in Minister of State for Mine and Steel development, Dr Uche Ogah has promised to revolutionize the steel sector of the economy in order to develop the automobile and other steel related industry in the country.

Ogah made this pledge in the post inaugural reception organized in his honour in Abuja. Ogah emphasized that the sector is crucial in industrialization of the country

Ogah also  promised to fullyv resuscitate the Ajaokuta steel factory so that it can start  producing optimally.

While imploring Nigerians to support President Mujammadu Buhari so that he can further provide  employment and empowerment for Nigerians, Ogah, promised to make poverty eradication is main priority as Minister.

“The number one reason I like the President (Buhari) is because he takes poverty eradication as priority. Anybody who takes human empowerment as priority  will always have my respect” he said.

He went further, “to my people in Abia State, I want you to hold me and all other political office holders in the state accountable, after three years, let all of us present our score card to the people in terms of poverty alleviation, human empowerment, provision of infrastructures and basic amenities so that people will know their true representatives” he said.

He also urged Abians to accept the ruling All Progressives Congress because the State has hope in the party.
