The statistics released by the the  host of the 2019 big brother reality show, Ebuka-Obi UchenduSHOWED THAT Nigerians spent about N7.2 billion to vote their preferred housemates. Just as

Mercy Eke emerged winner of the season 4 #PepperDem edition.

She won the star prize of 30 Million cash, Innoson SUV and other prizes, all worth 60 Million in total.

She defeated Mike in the final. Other housemates such as Seyi Awolowo and Frodd were evicted on the final day of the contest.

According to Uchendu this edition recorded over 240 million votes, out of which over 50 million votes were cast in the final week of the season. it costs N30 to cast a vote on the BBNaija Reality TV Show. With the figure, Nigerians spent over N7.2 billion on votes alone.

This is more than many states in Nigeria got from the Federal allocation in the month of August. Almost al the states in South East, North East and some southwest states got less than the amount from federal allocation in the month of August.

Announcing the winner of the show, the host also disclosed that a record-breaking over 50 million votes amounting to N1.5 billion were garnered in the last week of the show.

Down from 26 housemates, the keenly contested #PepperDem race saw Mercy, Seyi, Omashola and Frodd reach the finals as they battled for the grand price of 60 million Naira.

It had been an intriguing and eventful 90 days as each housemate served their own dose of ‘pepper’.

From the occasional fights, drama and controversy, to the tasking arena games, Friday night parties, celebrity visits and surprise evictions, the show most definitely served up enough pepper and spice that constantly sparked conversations among Nigerians, especially on social media.

Mercy Eke popularly known as Mercy de Lamborghini is a businesswoman, entrepreneur, video vixen and a television personality. She is currently based in Lagos State in the south western part of Nigeria and loves cooking, swimming, traveling and dancing.

She is very beautiful, lovely, industrious and talented. She is currently the only woman last standing in the house at the 2019 Big Brother Naija TV Reality Show tagged Pepper Dem Gang.

She was born on 29th September 1993 in Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. She is currently 26 years old. She refers to herself as Lamborghini and highlight queen. She is originally from Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria where she completed her primary school education and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate.

After completing her primary school education, Mercy proceeded to Egbu Girls Secondary School in Owerri, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria and obtained her West African Senior School Certificate. After completing her secondary school education, Mercy proceeded to Imo State University Owerri (IMSU) and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Mercy describes herself as a fun and lovely person to be with but at the same time crazy.
