NAMA trains ATC, technical personnel on safety management

The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has organised two separate training workshops in Lagos for some of its critical personnel in safety management.

The airspace manager said that the training was in-line with its statutorily role of building staff capacity for effective service delivery in the country and beyond.

A statement by Mr. Khalid Emele, the General Manager, Public Affairs, NAMA said that the training was facilitated by Aviation Academy for Southern Africa (AAFSA).

Emele hinted that the trainings included a three-day workshop on Safety Management Systems (SMS) and a five-day training, which focused on the Impact of Human Factor in Air Traffic Management Safety.
