The Nigerian Air Force Housing & Construction Company Limited (NAFHCCL) has requested to partner with the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited, (BIPC) to develop a Housing Estate in the state for its personnel and the general public.
The Managing Director of NAFHCCL, Air Commodore BD Solomon made this appeal during a courtesy call on the Managing Director of BIPC, Barr. Alex Adum at the investment House Makurdi.
Air Commodore Solomon explained that some personnels of the force upon retirement become homeless hence the need for the force to develop a housing scheme that will provide the needed shelter and cater for both retired and serving personels.
“We leave in Barracks and when we retire we become homeless. …Our Estates are not for our personnels only but for civilians too.”
“In our bid to expand our reach to the 36 states of the country, we have partnered several State Property Development Companies and have succeeded. We hope that we shall succeed with BIPC Ltd. too for the overall benefit of Benue people.” Commodore Solomon stated.
Responding on behalf of BIPC, the Managing Director, Barr. Alex Ter, Adum welcomed the pact, describing it as welcome development , adding that it would contribute positively to the economy of the state.
Barr. Adum stated that after due diligence of the proposal, BIPC will provide its proposed Housing Estate Plot of land at Adaka for possible development by the agency.
The MD in Company of other Management staff and the NAFHCCL proceeded to Adaka for on the spot assessment of the proposed land were Commodore Solomon expressed satisfaction.
