Manchester United playmaker, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, has said they intend to “fight for the title” next season.
United won three trophies in Jose Mourinho’s first year at the club. However, Mkhitaryan is aware that more is expected after Community Shield, EFL Cup and Europa League success.
“The Champions League is where Manchester United belongs and we are all happy to be playing in this great competition again.
“For the new season we definitely want to fight for the title. “For the Super Cup, it should be a fantastic game against Real Madrid!” the Armenia international told the club’s official website.
On his own personal targets for 2017/2018, Mkhitaryan who found the target 11 times in 41 appearances last term added: “I’d love to score more goals and give more assists and help the team win as many trophies as possible. I will give my best!
