Nigeria forward, Kayode Olanrewaju, has left Manchester City on a permanent basis.
Olanrewaju has joined Ukrainian champions, Shakhtar Donetsk, following a successful loan spell.
The 25-year-old penned a five-year contract on Friday.
“FC Shakhtar have bought on permanent transfer Olarenwaju Kayode from Manchester City and the striker has signed a five-year contract,” the club confirmed on their Twitter handle.
Olanrewaju made eight appearances for the club in all competitions and recorded three goals and one assist.
The striker, who has also represented Nigeria at youth levels, joined Manchester City from Austrian Wien last summer and was immediately loaned out to Spanish club Girona, where he struggled to pin down a regular berth.
He returned to form at Shakhtar Donetsk where he won the domestic double.
