Jonathan’s aide calls for proscription of Fulani herdsmen as terrorists

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has called for proscription of Fulani herdsmen as terrorists.

Omokri, a stark critic of the All Progressive Congress, while making reference to a statement by the Federal government that herdsmen were mere criminals, said Nigerians were not treated equally in the country.

“With the level of herdsmen killings in Benue, it grieves my heart to remember that these are people the Buhari administration described as ‘mere criminals and not terrorists’.

“Yet they designated IPOB as terrorists and we still deceive ourselves that all are equal in Buhari’s Nigeria!”

Fani-Kayode earlier faulted Lai Mohammed’s interview with BBC that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, posed greater threat to Nigeria than Fulani herdsmen.

The ex minister stressed that Mohammed and Buhari will answer to God and the Nigerian people for the innocent blood that their herdsmen had shed.
