Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammad has on Friday approved the appointment of the heads of agencies and parastatals in the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (SPHCDA).
The Governor’s media aide, Mukhtar Mohammed Gidado in a statement said that the appointment was made “in an effort to revitalize the healthcare delivery services and strengthen the system to take advantage of opportunities for performance based financing.”
According to him, Bala has appointed Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed as the Executive Chairman of the State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (SPHCDA), while Dr. Ahmed Sufyan Jibrin was hired as the State Programme Manager, Saving One Millions Lives Programme for Results (SOML), under the State Ministry of Health.
Also, Dr. Salisu Idris Isa was appointed as the Incidence Manager, Focal Person, for Basic Health Care Provision Fund (Emergency Operation Center) SPHCDA.
