Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, was sent off in the 78th minute of their 3-2 loss in the El Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As he walked off, cameras captured him saying “Talk now, Talk now” in Gerard Pique’s direction.
As Ramos handed the armband to Marcelo following a straight red card from Alejandro Hernandez, the defender began to make a talking motion with his hand.
He also pointed towards the directors’ boxes in the stadium, in reference to Pique’s comments that La Liga officials often sit there and favour Madrid.
Pique has always taken to social media, to protest refereeing decisions in favour of their arch rivals.
And this was just the latest instalment in the war of words between the Spain centre-backs, who admitted in March that they were able to put aside their well-publicized beef, for the sake of the national team.
