The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has urged Nigerians, irrespective of faith, ethnicity or gender, to deepen the spirit of mutual tolerance and embrace understanding in their conducts.
Its President, Rev. Felix Omobude, made the plea on Sunday while congratulating Muslims on the completion of the Ramadan season at this difficult time of global pandemic.
Omobude prayed that the celebration would usher in healing and greater peace in the country.
The PFN president, however, called on all religious leaders to continue to lift up the country in their prayers.
He prayed for wisdom for leadership and public officials at all levels in the country to be able to turn around the fortune of the nation in the face of the daunting economic challenges.
Omobude also congratulated the Sultan of Sokoto, Sultan Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, and all Muslims in Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr.
