Chelsea striker, Diego Costa, had admitted he would be willing to be loaned out if it will allow him to rejoin Atletico Madrid.
The 28-year-old claimed last week that Blues manager Antonio Conte, sent him text him to look for a new club ahead of the 2017/2018 season. And he is keen to return to Atletico, having left for Stamford Bridge in a £32million move back in July 2014.
However, the La Liga side are unable to register new players until January 2018, for breaching FIFA rules over the signing of minors.
After opening the scoring in Spain’s 2-1 win against Macedonia on Sunday, Costa told Cadena SER: “Signing for Atletico doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t be playing. I could be loaned out.
“Chelsea are my owners. If they want to sell me, they’ll have to sell me.”
