Bauchi State Commissioner for information and Communication Dr. Ladan Salihu has said that the state would be a safe haven for investors and other development donor agencies to operate.
The commissioner also said that, in short time Bauchi will be pace setter for other states to emulate.
Ladan spoke during an AIT political programme, “Democracy in focus” and monitored by our correspondent. He claimed that the Bauchi government had within 100 days in office fulfilled its campaign promises and recorded other achievements
The commissioner boasted that Bauchi state has experienced infrastructural development due to the political will of the state governor, which according to him was his desire for good governance and rule of law.
He said that the governor Bala administration had flagged off roads construction of about 90 kilometers that spread across the state with 50percent been paid to contractors.
Ladan added that the governor further embarked on rehabilitation and reconstruction of educational facilities across the state by renovating dilapidated schools and constructing new schools including ICT model school.
He said other achievements were; renovation and upgrading of health facilities across the state, managing security and provision of portable drinking water and agriculture among others.
