Atakumosa Crisis: Peace returns to  in Ile-Ife,says Council Chairman


The Pandemonium in the ancient  city of Ile Ife had been  peacefully settled,  and normalcy has returned to all affected areas.

As soon as the chairman of Ife Central Govt. Chairman, Hon. Bisi Oladosu  received a distress calls from the good citizens of Sabo ile lfe, the government swung into actions by contacting all the security stake holders  of the city.

The chairman of councils of Ile-Ife;   Ife central West, Ife Central, Ife East, and Ife Ooye,  the honourable members of  Assembly representing Ile Ife in Osun State of Assembly, the councilors and myself  are in SaboA as at the time of compiling these  reports.

The Secretary, Ife Central West Hon Tunji Owojori said in a statement that Chairmen of Councils in Ife commended efforts of  the  Police Area commander of Ife Zone, the DPO of Ife central govt, who led the teams of strong police officers to Iloro, Agahin,, NTA road, Ondo road  and all nooks and cranes of ile ife to make sure the  peace reigns at all cost.

Owojiri noted that the remote cause of this pandemonium was as a result of two-fighting at Awura village at Atakunmosa  East LCDA Osu,

He explained that the criminals who wanted to take advantage of the Aruwa’s crisis to forment trouble in ile Ife had been check mated. “To God be the glory, ” he added.

“We implore every citizens of ile ife to continue peacefully with their economic and social activities,” he assured
