Ahead of November 26 Ondo state governorship elec-tion, an aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Dele Alade has promised to end impunity and corrupt acts in the state if elected as the governor.
Hon. Alade who also expressed his readiness to fight corruption in the state saying Mimiko-led administration has done his best in terms of good governance but he would do much better if the good people of Ondo elected him.
Alade stated this at the weekend in Akure, the state capital while declaring his intention to contest in the upcoming Ondo state governorship election stressing the need for the electorate to hold the leaders accountable for bad governance and poor administration in Nigeria.
He alleged that the present administration of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko has promoted corruption through inpunity which his administration would fight.
He said that the governor has failed the masses of the state who gave him the mandate to rule them declaring that there was no impact of the government in many parts of the state.
His words; “the living condition of our people is deplorable, our environment is not conducive for healthy living, our roads are death traps, our industries have been looted out of existence and there is no meaningful development in the state.
