Federal Government Cancelled Suspension, As Uniabuja Protest Stopped


Federal Government Has Cancelled the Suspension of the four Courses in Uniabuja. Latest news reaching our desk right now is that, Federal government have finally cancelled the suspension of four courses in Uniabuja today,

following the recent change in academic activities in the school, As students protested against the suspension of the four professional courses, if you missed reading the two previous interesting article on the Uniabuja protest on suspended courses.

This is the latest report from uniabuja, following the recent suspension of four professional course,

  1. Medicine.
  2. Veterinary medicine.
  3. Engineering.
  4. Agriculture

This suspension of the four professional courses has, however been cancelled by the Feederal Government.

This has gives hope to the students of Uniabuja, who are currently studying the courses that were suspended.

They can now study and graduate in their courses, since the suspension is now cancelled and the university of Abuja can now legally study the courses.

The Minister of Education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufa’i however, said that the university of Abuja has given an ultimatum of six month to the school, this ultimatum has been given to the current Vice Chancellor of Uniabuja, to put in place the necessary facilities needed for the programmes and prepare for accreditation.

This decision was taken by Federal Government, when the Federal government has seen that the students will continued their massive protests.

However, this morning after a road block was mounted on Umaru Musa Yar’adua Expressway in Abuja, the Federal government decided to release and cancelled the suspension.
